It is now official to hear from the Spanish Defense Ministry, Carme Chacon, that two Mirage F-1 warplanes have crashed during a training mission and all three crewmembers on the planes were killed. The tragedy took place on Tuesday in the central province of Albacete.
Carme Chacon left Madrid for Los Llanos , south-eastern province, to meet relatives of the dead.
There is no exact information with this accident but the two aircraft was found about 1.8 miles apart. What we know about the jets is that one of the French-made fighter jets was a single-seater. The other was designed to hold a crew of two.
